Sabbatical Planning
A great resource for planning a travel sabbatical is the 30-day guide put together by Bootsnall. It targets folks planning extended travel. But it asks questions relevant to any career break or sabbatical:
What excites you most about taking a career break and traveling? What crazy, passionate travel ideas do you think would always be just dreams? How do you hope your life will change when you do take a career break and travel? What’s the real reason you want to take a career break? Be specific, emotional, and selfish.
DIGITAL NOMADS
For those not quite ready to leave work completely behind, but want to be away from the office scene, remote work and digital nomad opportunities are endless. Others have written extensively about the topic. Having met several nomads in one of the unofficial capitals of the movement (Chiang Mai, Thailand), people do a variety of businesses and projects beyond traditional remote work from their own Amazon stores to online trading.
